Guatemala Mission Report:
God moved in a great and mighty way on our journey to reach the people of Guatemala. We are praising Him for all the doors that opened up for us to reach and touch His people. God spoke to me on our first morning in our worship time and said, I will open up more doors than you can imagine and He did just that. I want to say to you that God is looking for ordinary people that He can use to do extra ordinary things through. Be encouraged by the word of this testimony! Our plan was to go to three orphanages to take gifts to the children and workers and to share God's unfailing love with them and to pray for their needs. We did this...many of the children that we saw there last year remembered us and came running to us for hugs...it was the sweetest time in God's love! We went food shopping and filled bags with food and a salvation track, we went to the poor in the streets and passed them out. I learned to say Jesus loves you in Spanish...I would tell them that and then hand them the bag...the smiles on their faces were incredible. I knew that I would be ministering at a home for girls...I was prepared with the message and study sheets...the Lord told me before I left to take many extra of each, so I did. Another door opened up for me to minister to a large amount of people in a garden the next day. I spoke to them about "God's Fountain" that never runs dry...I gave my personal testimony about my childhood about how God took the broken shy little girl that I was and that today how He is using me to Glorify Him...I spoke about His overflowing water Fountain that I had found and the importance of going there daily for a fresh immersion of His Spirit...that through this today I am walking in His Overflow...God healed me, He filled me, He anointed me, He appointed, He prepared me, He equipped me and He has launched me forth to the Nations to tell all that He is a God of Love, Mercy and Grace. I learned this all by dying to myself...I ran out of Janice and ran into Jesus. I said to the people there that if I had one last word that I could say to them it would be this...to die to self...let go and let God have your life...give Jesus the master suite of your heart. I told them that if they would seek God and learn to serve Jesus first in their life that they would walk in God's overflowing abundance...and be filled with unspeakable joy! At the end of the message I closed in prayer and had an invitation for people to receive Christ...we had so many salvations...I prayed for those that needed to come back to Christ...just about everyone came up for prayer...I ask for those that needed a healing in their body to come up...many came for prayer...a man that looked about 85 years old was very afflicted and could not hear...I prayed over his ears and his sickness...God opened up his ears and he could hear. A teenage boy that was 18 years old sat and just wept...I went to him and ask how I could pray for him...he said as you were praying for others...God spoke to me and said...that he was calling him to the Nations to do His work. He said it was the first time he had ever heard the voice of God...I prayed for him with his mother as they both wept with tears of joy as he had heard God's call and that he would go forth in Jesus to share the gospel. So many healing miracles and peoples lives being changed forever! They have ask me to come back to minister again...I am preparing for my trip back again in the next few months. Glory to God in the highest! I want to Thank each one that prayed for us and sowed seed for this mission, I ask that you would continue to pray for us as we go forth for the great harvest of souls! You also, can go forth right where you are and just share what Jesus has already done for you, the word of our testimony wins souls...Amen! Jesus is coming soon, I feel a fervency in my spirit, to tell the world to wake up, and to seek the Lord, and to call on Him while He is near.
